Anna's cooking classes for families with children
Join Anna's cooking classes specifically tailor made for parents with children, during your week ends or vacations along the Ligurian eastern Riviera. Both adults and children will have fun experiencing how to make doughs, fresh pasta, focacce, and cookies, not so difficult also for younger participants. Hands-on and personal involvment of all the partecipants is a must, encouraged and supervised by Anna, confident in her childmiding skills and good attitude with children. Pic nic after your visit to an inland olive grove
Take advantage of spending a bunch of hours off the usual touristic places. You are invited to a guided tour through olive groves situated on the hills in an inland valley at the back of the coastal town of Lavagna. You will walk along old paths aside and under the olive trees while being told about the tradition of the olive cultivation and how the local people are still following ancient seasonal works on this terraced land. At the end of your visit you will arrive at the farm Arca di Nè where you can try making your own basil pesto in the mortar and will be shown how to make the typical Genoese testaieu, small round flatbreads cooked in red-hot terracotta dishes heated over burning ashes, to accompany your pesto.
A good glass of Vermentino wine and other dainty food, freshly prepared by the Farm and B&B owner, will be served for a happy pic-nic to enjoy all together. Honey, jams and extra virgin olive oil, directly produced by the farm, will be available for sale on spot.
