We spent a fun, interesting and informative day with Anna in her kitchen enjoying a hands on cooking class. Anna is very knowledgeable about the cuisine of the area. She made the learning experience fun
while we put together the various menu items she had planned for us. We sat down and enjoyed the
delicious meal with her. We left
feeling we had made a special friend and highly recommend you take her cooking class in this private setting overlooking the Ligurian countryside.

We have had the privilege of visiting Italy several times and having delicious meals. This was the genuinely our favorite meal we’ve had in the country. Anna is so talented (and humble!) and we had a really lovely evening.

This experience was totally local; from the drive from the train station, to the local wine and the uniqueness of Ligurian cooking. Anna’s knowledge of pasta and local preparation was unparalleled; this, coupled with the unique location made the evening one to remember.

Anna’s cooking class was a wonderful experience! It was a great balance of structure and flexibility - things were prepared for our arrival and there was a lovely cooking plan, which she adjusted slightly as we all got to talking about different herbs and what we were curious to try. We enjoyed the cooking process, the delicious food, and just overall having a meal and getting to know Anna a lot.

feel completely at ease and at home in
her kitchen. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, guiding the group and encouraging active participation in the preparation and cooking of a traditional three-course meal.
Located in the hills and offering a great view of the sea, the location added a unique and unforgettable dimension to our entire experience. And last but not least, the meal itself was absolutely delicious — a perfect culmination of everything we had learned and prepared together.. .

De kooksessie vindt plaats op een prachtige plek hoog in de bergen. De weg ernaartoe is kronkelig en deels vrij smal. De kookles is in Anna’s eigen keuken en deze is niet zo heel groot. Haar uitleg is duidelijk, en Anna spreekt goed Engels. Ze kan ook veel vertellen over de omgeving en de historie van de streek Ligurië. Je krijgt ook veel uitleg over de gerechten en de oorsprong. Als de mogelijkheid er is om in de tuin te eten, moet je dat zeker doen. Mis vooral de zonsondergang niet!

This was such a wonderful experience learning about and cooking Ligurian cuisine. Anna allows for a lot of customization and input, is very patient, warm and welcoming, and clearly puts a lot of thought into the experience. The recipes we made were amazing - the walnut sauce was especially yummy! There was an ample amount of food, and the views were spectacular - we even got lucky enough to see a thunderstorm in the distance while we ate our meals. We highly recommend this experience and Anna and would gladly cook more meals with her! Mark

What a lovely experience with Anna!
My family and I visited Anna up in the mountains for this cooking experience which ended with a feast at the end, and a printout of the recipes for that day Anna is helpful, shares stories and customs about the region and culinary tips in a friendly environment.
We made a 3 course meal and sat outside to watch the stunning view of the bay while eating some antipasti and then our delicious meal. Our family had a fantastic time with lots of giggles, bit of competition with the pasta stretching (😉) and learnt a lot. Massive thanks to Anna for creating a friendly authentic and homely environment with authentic Ligurian culinary experience.

This experience was honestly so amazing and the food we made together as a group was delicious.
I highly recommend the train ride there to do this class. I now have some new recipes that I cannot wait to use back home. The location is magnificent, and Anna is such a sweet and talented person. She goes above and beyond in her hospitality and has such interesting cultural and historical information in her recipes. I will never forget how good of a night this class was.

Le cours de cuisine avec Anna est un des meilleurs souvenirs de notre voyage en Italie de l'été 2020. Nous avons cuisiné toute l'après-midi dans une bonne ambiance et avec toutes les explications de chaque plat de son histoire par Anna, qui parle très bien français ! Le repas a été pris dans le jardin, avec une superbe vue, et accompagné de la maman d'Anna. C'était un très bon moment de partage que nous avons adoré.
